GRID-FLEX

800VDC POWER SYSTEM

Our latest GRID-FLEX high power, grid-connected bi-directional inverter is designed from the ground up for 800-950V DC distribution. Tritium has been designing, manufacturing and supporting commercial fleets of 950VDC distribution systems since 2018. Our expertise in DC protection, safety, and resilience translates directly to needs of an 800VDC architecture for data centers.

Tritium’s experience spans from designing advanced, modular power electronics and products through to entire DC distribution systems spanning up to 100m. We can package our solutions with several distribution and grounding options with full consideration of fault detection, voltage stability and impedance.

POWERING THE FUTURE OF AI/ML

Distributed 800VDC Solution

High Power: 800kW output per inverter cabinet
Scalable: Combine up to four 800kW inverter cabinets in one system for 3.2MW and then combine multiple systems
Modular: 50kW liquid-cooled modules deliver 800-950VDC output)
Efficient: 98.5% peak efficiency
Global: UL/CE certified for deployment across 400/480VAC 50Hz/60Hz grids
Compatible: Works with a wide variety of earthing designs including grounded and ungrounded systems.
N+1/N2 uptime: Module redundancy and over-provisioning on 480VAC grids ensures optimal uptime
High Density: 3.2MW from 4.11m² (779kW/m²) / 44.2ft² (72.3kW/ft²) footprint
Protected: Indoor/outdoor rated enclosures are IP65 sealed, NEMA Type 3R
Robust: Wide operational temperature range of -35°C to +55°C (-31°F to +131°F)
Sophisticated Grid Support: Advanced grid support algorithms (such as QV droop, PF droop, FRT responses, etc.) to leverage dynamic power factor correction capabilities supporting from 0.0 lagging to 0.0 leading
Remote Management: GRID-FLEX systems are remotely managed and monitored via our MyTritium customer asset management portal
Mitigated Risk: Backed by a 10-year power module warranty
DESIGNED FOR HYPER SCALE

Data Centers Capabilities

GRID-FLEX is designed to be deployed in 3.2MW blocks that can then be paralleled in groups of three via a Bus Combiner for 9.6MW distribution to 800VDC powered servers.
